1975- A group of nine chelas of Gurus’ Ma and Morya El: Joseph, Maureen, David, Paula Z., Paula B., Gayle, John, Sara-Lee and Thomas from Malibu, California  took Manhattan over by storm.     1978- Elisabeth Clare Prophet - Guru Ma Graces New York City  and brings the Word on Stomp.  A memorable dictation and a sight to behold:

​Church Universal and Triumphant®
Church Universal and Triumphant® is a formal church with sacred rituals and inner temple teachings.    It was founded in 1975 by Elizabeth Clare Prophet when the Board of Directors for The Summit Lighthouse incorporated the church to meet the religious needs of an expanding body of spiritual seekers.    The ascended masters Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha are sponsors.

Hierarchy

In 1957 El Morya called Mark to Washington, D.C., to found The Summit Lighthouse and publish the teachings of the Ascended Masters. On August 8, 1958, El Morya dictated the first of the Pearls of Wisdom to Mark, launching a worldwide movement. In February 1973, Mark delivered his final dictation which was given at the Santa Barbara Motherhouse in California. Not long after that, Mark ascended to reunite with God. He is known today as the Ascended Master Lanello.

​Elizabeth Clare Prophet (1939-2009) was an author, teacher, messenger and leader of The Summit Lighthouse. Like her husband, Mark L. Prophet, her calling was to be a prophet of God, or one who delivers the Word of God. Trained by the Ascended Masters, she delivered their messages to the world through the power of the Holy Spirit.
